T&C California Zinfandel

The Zinfandel ripens early and exhibits the finesse and intense berry flavors of the original Primitivo Clone from Italy. Matured in lightly toasted French and American barrels.
Vintage 2012 in Paso Robles saw a good and steady growing season. It was the first year of a series of dry seasons and yielded small berries and concentrated fruit flavors and tannins, producing extremely well balanced wines. Known as an overall excellent vintage for the entire Paso Robles area. The Zinfandel Block is situated on gently sloping bench land above the Estrella river.
Bouquet: Intense berry and spicy aromas
Palate:  Fresh musky, stewed plum aromas with aniseed notes. Elegant and structured with rich dark plum fruit and savory, powdery tannins. A very well balanced wine. The wine has aged very well and developed varietal characters.
